Takoma Station Tavern (TS) has been creating memories for patrons for over thirty years. TS is a minority and family-owned establishment that continues to provide good music, food, and fun forlocals and out-of-towners.
Takoma Station has applied for a substantial change to its existing license with the D.C. Alcohol Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) to construct a Summer Garden Rooftop Deck. In more than 30 years of business, TS is faced with the first formal protest to its application for a liquor license renewal.
As D.C. continues to go through a complete transformation and gentrification, Takoma Station deserves the right to upgrade their establishment and to remain competitive with new businesses that are quickly growing in the city, and in nearby Takoma specifically.
Please join us in demonstrating to the DC Alcohol Beverage Regulation Administration, the Takoma community, and to the DMV Area that Takoma Station has the support of many. Please sign this petition to show your love and support for Takoma Station and their proposed rooftop deck.

Been going here for years. A rooftop would be awesome! Dont let the complainers ruin a good thing.
Takoma Station is an institution. Leave them alone and let them improve their space.
Used to live right down the street. Always loved the vibe here. Hope they get the deck its long overdue.
I agree. Takoma Station has provided years of entertainment and leisure activities for the DMV, and the establishment deserves upgrades that developers are providing for their gentrification partners.
DC is changing way to fast. This is one of the few spots left that feels like real DC.

Though no longer a resident, I still enjoy visiting "The Station" when in town.
