The safety and security of our neighborhood is being jeopardized by the actions of one of our neighbors. There have been ongoing drug related arrests and issues with distribution and possession of controlled substances at least back as far as 2003. The neighbors in close proximity are well aware of the activities and concerns. Recently, with the help of social media more neighbors are now aware and being vigilant.
In January our safety committee watched as the Alpharetta Police SWAT Team conducted a successful raid at the property resulting in arrests. The property owner has entered a not guilty plea again. We want full prosecution as this has been allowed to continue far too long. We have missed several of the pre-trial hearings, but the case is scheduled to be heard on July 23rd in Judge Hicks' courtroom (4C) at the Fulton County Courthouse Complex.
We are asking all neighbors who are concerned to get involved. We plan to make a presence at the trial and need everyone who can attend to show up. If you cannot attend, we ask that you make a victim impact statement to the court by calling Mark Holmes @ 404-612-0679 at the Fulton County DA's Office and reference Indictment / case number 15SC134212
If you are unable to attend the trial, or call, please leave your own DETAILED victim impact statement below and we will submit to the DA as well.

I have been reading through the new statements you are all leaving here and they confirm exactly what I have felt while living next to this chaos for years. Watching this unfold has been exhausting for all of us but your persistence is ensuring that the court sees the real impact this has had on our neighborhood.

Seeing this level of support confirms that our neighborhood is tired of the cycle of arrests and empty promises. The momentum we have built proves that the people living here will no longer accept this behavior on our streets.

I live next door to this drug family. I constantly smell marijuana from my back porch, I've found a syringe in between our yards, and I live in constant worry for my 3 small children. There is traffic there all the time and plenty of unsavory people in and out.
I have given permission for the last 10 years for officers of the Alpharetta Police Dept. to observe this house from my driveway. We have many little children (including my own) that play within 100 yards of this house and we have continuous traffic to and from that house that do not live there. It's pretty apparent what's going on. Please put an end to this problem in our subdivision. There has to be someone that says " Enough is enough" How many chances to change behavior do people get anymore? This has got to stop. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, John Friske
How many of you have actually met susan? She's actually a great person and I know that her and her friends keep to themselves just because you don't like the way they look gives you no right.to tell her where she can live. Have her or any of her friends ever put you or your kids in danger ? Shame on you manning residents who are you to judge her
This drug house is a danger to my family. On numerous occasions I have witnessed random cars pull up to the house, a person go up to the door, and retrieve something from a person in the house and then drive away. It causes unwanted additional traffic within the neighborhood. Sometimes when out on a family walk, cars race by us only to pull into this house's driveway. There is also a specific man who sometimes lives there who rides a bicycle out and back to this house within minutes. I'm assuming he's selling the drugs right outside the neighborhood.
I want my children to grow up in a place that is free from drugs and crime and we moved here with the hope that this neighborhood would offer that. How can I teach my daughter right from wrong and how the bad guys get caught when this behavior is going on in our own community and we have our hands tied and the state is allowing people to do this. It is dangerous and unsafe for all neighbors.
Drugs do not belong in this neighborhood with children. There are "runners" that are dangerous and are making it unsafe for my children
Enough is enough. When we were purchasing our house during our final walk through we were ushered back in the house by the swat team during a bust. We put a hold on our purchase until we knew the details and after she was prosecuted we assumed that she'd be gone and we'd live in the safest neighborhood in Alpharetta. We went along with the purchase and LOVE our neighborhood, but that was 12 + years ago. Seriously, this needs to stop.....

My family has been negatively impacted by the careless and illegal acts committed by Ms. Gallager. Loud motorcycles carrying drugs to and from the residence disrupt the peace in our neighborhood. Constant traffic to her home creates an unsafe environment for my children as the drivers are often speeding and driving erratically. Unsightly vehicles and suspicious red and green lighting make her house an eyesore. This drug house brings crime to our otherwise lovely neighborhood. Something needs to be done to put an end to it. The residents of Mannings Ridge urge the DA to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law and reject plea deals. This situation needs to be taken seriously.
