I have been reading through the comments you all are leaving and the stories about what graduation means to your families are truly moving. I am just one person who wanted to see a change but seeing how many of you feel the same way is honestly overwhelming. I am currently working on putting together a formal request for the administration so they can see exactly why this matters to our kids.

I dont go to SC anymore but yeah it wasn't fair that everyone else got to be all dressy and formal and stuff and we got to wear a t-shirt. Most of the T shirts are probably already at the dump, or making their way to it...
I remember when I graduated from there and I hated that shirt so much. nobody even kept it anyway. let the kids have a nice day.
literally why are we wearing these lame shirts?? everyone else gets to look cute and we look like were going to PE class. let us dress up.
bruh just let them wear suits and dresses.
my sister is graduating and shes so mad about this. its just a shirt honestly let them pick their own clothes for once

It's not fair to swift creek 8th graders for them not to be able to wear whatever they would like to their graduation. It's their day to remember right? And it's not fair to swift creek if their the only school that can't wear what they want to the graduation
