Support the development of affordable/workforce housing on the Suzuki Property
Dear COBI Council Members:
I support the sale of the Suzuki Property for development which includes permanent affordable housing.
Bainbridge Island needs workforce housing – the Housing Needs Assessment, Comprehensive Plan, and citizen surveys all support this.
The Suzuki Property can be developed to provide housing AND protect open space and environmentally sensitive features, in a way that complements surrounding uses.
