I petition to support the 803 Waimanu Work Force Housing development that will provide198 Work Force units. It is my understanding that all units in the Development will be offered for saleto people making less than 140% of Median Income.
Located in Kakaako, the proposed apartment building is approximately 250 feet high , comprising a 20 story residential tower over a 7.5-story parking podium. Under the current HCDA rules, Workforce Housing is allowed double Floor Area Ratio with which the proposed project complies. To achieve this, the applicant is asking reasonablemodifications (NOT variances) tothe Kakaako Mauka Rules.
Because of the urgent and extreme need ofWork Force Housing in Honolulu, and because this project is conveniently located to serve working people, I urge HCDA to approve 803 Waimanu,so that the working community may benefit.

JUST BUILD IT ALREADY. Sick of seeing empty lots while everyone is struggling to pay rent.
would love to stay in town instead of driving from waianae every single day. please approve this.
good project. hope it goes through before the prices go up even more.
HCDA needs to say yes. Kakaako is getting way too expensive for normal folks.
Finally some units for people who actually work in town. My rent is crazy and I need something I can afford.

I support Franco Mola, Scott Settle and Dennis Mahoney's fraud against my family!.... joking. Hope they go to jail.
