Currently the Carey Community Park, which consists of the grassy picnic area, the playground and volleyball courts is owned by Blaine County. The City of Carey would like to take ownership of the park so that they can not only maintain the park but also make improvements.
The purpose of this petition is so that we can take these signatures to the Blaine County Commissioners and show that our community is in favor of the City of Carey taking ownership of the park.

BOUT TIME!!! The city should have had this park years ago.
My kids play here every single day after school. Local control makes way more sense than the county being involved.
The citizens of Carey have always taken pride and care of things in their town... ownership of this should definitely be Carey not county!!!
I am in full support of that. The community all ready does so much for that park it's about time they get to have a say.!!
