We, the homeowners of the Trailwoods of Ann Arbor, petition to HC Investment Holdings LLC and Toll MI VII Corp. the allocation of funds and creation of a Park at the Trailwoods of Ann Arbor development including the following amenities: Park Signage, Turf Area, Dog bag dispensary and signage, Bicycle Parking, Children's Play Structure, Benches.

The Trailwoods of Ann Arbor development does not have a communal place designated. There are no communal places or parks within walking distance.

Our children and homeowners need a designated Park including a Children’s Play Structure to foster a positive, safe communal place and for the children in the neighborhood to play outdoors. The walking trails planned for the Trailwoods are not sufficient for a safe, communal space for all children and adults to congregate. Parks are commonplace in Ann Arbor communities including our surrounding neighborhoods – Kirkway, Scio Farms, Polo Fields, French Country Estates. The proposed Park will not only foster and enrich the current community of homeowners but attract homebuyers looking for a Neighborhood with a Park.

We strongly encourage that the HC Investment Holdings LLC and Toll MI VII Corp. invest in our community with the allocation of funds and creation of a Park including all amenities listed within the Trailwoods of Ann Arbor development. As a community, we agree to bare a portion of the cost of the park through our HOA dues over a multi year investment. Cost is to be determined.

Reaching this level of visibility exhausted me but it confirms that we are not alone in wanting a proper park here. The path ahead remains steep yet I am staying focused on getting the developers to listen.

For a community of this size, and with majority of households with children, a park would add to a sense of community and act as a center of an already budding community! We have personally seen a park add a unique element to a prior neighborhood we lived in that would work perfectly in Trailwoods! Thank you

I support this effort. Back in July I made a similar suggestion to our HOA via the Town Square app. This request was reviewed by Associa Kramer Triad and forwarded to Sean Thomas at Toll. He reached out and told me that the approved site plan for this community did not have a playground in the plans. Based on previous conversations with Sean I interpreted this to mean that any plans for a playground would need approval from Scio Township as well, it is not something that Toll could decide to do on its own.

Please help us build community and provide a safe space for our children to grow in. These amenities would also help engage new customers... a win win situation.
