Save Beverly Park as we know it. Support keeping the children's amenities (playground equipment, basketball court, swing set, etc.). For numerous years this has been a family park. We are against changing the purpose of the park. We are against turning the park into a rain garden. Beverly Park, including the children's playground and amenities, benefit the Camp Hill Community as a whole. The purpose of the park should remain as it has always been, a park for children and families to gather, play and enjoy physical activity. While water drainage issues should be addressed, the children's park and play area should remain as is. The signers of this petition support this agenda. When signing, please include your first and last name.

There is a bench in Beverly Park which a group of young girls worked very hard to raise money for as part of their Silver Award in Girl Scouts. They also did work in the gardens and planted trees. I would hate to see the legacy that they left for others to enjoy erased.

When we moved to Camp Hill five years ago the schools, proximity to Harrisburg, and multiple neighborhood parks (for play) were the big three reasons. It felt like a neighborhood. I’d like to see more, not less, play areas.

We moved to the Beverly neighborhood just one year ago. We have two small children and Beverly Park was a huge draw for us. We have spent many afternoons/evenings enjoying this beautiful place that our kids simply call "the park." Please don't take this away from them or the other children who love this park as it is.

First Schaffer School playground goes, now they want to repurpose Beverly?? Kids from this part of town would have to go all the way to Eisenhower or Hoover to play! Keep the play facilities in Beverly, and address the water issues.

My kids have grown up going to Beverly Park. My son still uses the basketball court. Every time I drive by the park there are a ton of kids and families playing there. I am shocked that anyone would want to get rid of a park that is so loved and well used.

Please do not turn this park into a "Rain Garden". This idea is a "cop-out" on the part of the council; the community wants an actual solution to water drainage issues, and not a band-aid that robs our children of a great park in the process.
