Richborough Property Development are appealing the decision made by Bucks Council which forced them to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on the proposed development of 485 homes on Green Belt land west of Bull Lane, Gerrards Cross. Planning reference: PL25/2536/EIASR

We strongly support the Council's decision requiring the need for an EIA. We believe that preservation of the Green Belt is paramount and the impact of such a development on local infrastructure, wildlife and biodiversity would be signficant. A thorough EIA process is essential.

As a Gerrards Cross resident- I strongly encourage the council to assess the environmental impact of the house building. Impact on habitat, impact on green belt in totality, impact on water, run off and flooding.

This development should be fully assessed before given the go-ahead or other. It is a very large development for a relatively small town which is already plagued by traffic congestion and inadequate services, such as having no GP practice.

Bull Lane is already congested and dangerous to pedestrians and motorists alike this development will add traffic and strain infrastructure. For long stretches Bull lane is narrow with now pavements yet increasingly used by large trucks

I completely support the decision made for an environmental impact assessment. The proposed development will have a huge impact on the area and this assessment is vital to ensure the natural habitats and environment have the full consideration and any planning required.

Entirely inappropriate development for the purposes of profiteering and contributing nothing to those who need housing the most and all know these will be out of the reach of most home buyers. This also makes a mockery of green belt rules.

Infrastructure along Bull Lane can not currently cope with level of traffic. It takes over 10 minutes in peak time to move 400 yards along Bull Lane into Bullstrode Rd onto the A40. Where's the Health and Safety rules when needed to be applied , let alone common sense.

We do not have the infrastructure to support more households in this area. Once gone there is no going back - protect our Green Belt!
