Pierre Loti Noise Complaint
TO: Borough President Gale Brewer, Council Member Corey Johnson, Assembly Member Dick Gottfried, and State Senator Brad Hoylman, W. 15th Neighborhood Block Association, the Council of Chelsea Block Associations and CB4's Quality of Life Commitee:
As residents of the 200 block of W. 15th St., we're overly concerned about the current commercial use affecting the quiet of this residentially zoned street.
The noise/music and patrons who gather outside PIERRE LOTI WINE BAR located at 258 W. 15th St. are the most disturbing.
At issue, are the 3-4 nights that PIERRE LOTI showcases live music (often amplified) as well as the nightly noise generated by their patrons who congregate outside at or near their outdoor tables (most often well past midnight).
We urge our elected officials and the Community Board Members they appoint to help abate the disturbances and disruptions in our residential community from PIERRE LOTI. We ask PIERRE LOTI to abide by the existing laws, rules and regulations set forth by New York City and New York State.
Neighbors, we kindly request your signature ASAP (please include your street address) since the primary purpose for this petition is to submit it to CB4's Quality of Life Committee Meeting scheduled for early March 2014. At this meeting, with PIERRE LOTI in attendance, we have high hopes of resolving our noise complaints.
