The State Liquor Authority is considering an application for a new liquor license for another bar in our neighborhood -- in the basement of 141 West 10th Street, which formerly housed Suds Laundromat.
The applicant has misrepresented 141 West 10th as a commercial building in a business district. Our residential street, which is home to 440 apartments, is already oversaturated with bars and restaurants. The residents of West 10th Street do not need or want the noise and trash associated with another bar on our street.

Enough is enough. My apartment is already shaking from the bass of the bars down the block. We need somewhere to do laundry not another place for people to get drunk at 2am.
