STOP THE SALE OF COMMON ROOTS PUB, located at 3642 W. 8th Street, corner of Enright Ave. The danger of letting the Pub be sold is that the Eco Village will no longer have control of the property that is in the center of the village with IMAGO to the south and the CSA (Eco Village greenhouse) to the north. KEEP THE COMMON ROOTS PUB AS A MUSIC and ENTERTAINMENT CENTER FOR THE ECOVILLAGE and the LARGER COMMUNITY.
ive been hearing so many stories from you all today about why this place matters to the village and it just proves we cant let this building turn into something else. im currently working on getting a meeting set up with the owners to make sure they know how much this space actually means to us.

im honestly blown away by how much this has taken off. seeing so many people care about saving the pub makes me feel like we actually have a shot at keeping this space for the community.

This IS the Westside music venue, hands down. It has so much potential to keep growing and Rockne is really putting in the effort to turn it into a landmark. Please don't stop the forward momentum, our community seriously needs this place!

Common Roots is wonderful. I agree that it shouldn’t be sold. But there is a real problem with lack of volunteers to run it. For it to continue more people need to volunteer. Or funding is needed to hire reliable people to run it. It would be great if someone would help make these happen.

Common Roots is a special place for music and meeting on the West Side, like no other. It should not be sold to anyone who would change it's mission to bring a harmonious and thoughtful space to the area.

The Common Roots Pub Thursday night open mic is probably the best (or one of the best) --and most productive-- open mic venues in Greater Cincinnati. It has grown and improved tremendously during the past year. It would be a shame to see it end just as it has attained this long-sought level of success.

I don't know who currently owns the building or why it may go up for sale but if enough people band together and raise money perhaps it can become permanent property of Imago and continue to provide a great place for community and music!

Common Roots has become my musical home. They have welcomed me with open arms over the years and entertained allowing me to express my muse. I would be heartbroken to see it go.

What a loss this would be.
Please keep this in the community.
Find another method to deal with the issues but keep it in the hands of the community.
