This IS the Westside music venue, hands down. It has so much potential to keep growing and Rockne is really putting in the effort to turn it into a landmark. Please don't stop the forward momentum, our community seriously needs this place!

Common Roots is wonderful. I agree that it shouldn’t be sold. But there is a real problem with lack of volunteers to run it. For it to continue more people need to volunteer. Or funding is needed to hire reliable people to run it. It would be great if someone would help make these happen.

While I agree wholeheartedly that CR is 110% deserving of being saved, I fear that everyone is missing the real issue. It has always been a struggle to find enough volunteers to be able to properly run the place. What we really need are more reliable volunteers--some of whom would ideally have the professional knowledge and training required by some of the behind-the-scenes needs of the business. We need enough volunteers to run the place without anyone getting burnt out.

Common Roots is a special place for music and meeting on the West Side, like no other. It should not be sold to anyone who would change it's mission to bring a harmonious and thoughtful space to the area.

The Common Roots Pub Thursday night open mic is probably the best (or one of the best) --and most productive-- open mic venues in Greater Cincinnati. It has grown and improved tremendously during the past year. It would be a shame to see it end just as it has attained this long-sought level of success.

Keep the Common Roots Pub open. It clearly means a lot to many. People need a place they can go to express their musical creativity and where others can enjoy it.
