JVC has a lot of wonderful parks which as members of the JVC community, we frequently use. A large proportion of members who frequent the parks are dog walkers/owners. The park is a wonderful space for the dogs to socialise and run freely without the dangers of traffic and busy roads. The parks also provide shade for the dogs, which in the summer months is essential. If regulations are in place such as: reduced number of parks open to pets, the wearing of masks, reduced opening hours (e.g. 8-11am and 5-8pm), dog waste bins provided, limited number of persons per patch of grass land, then there should be no issues for our dogs to use the parks during the Covid-19 pandemic. After all, it is a community park intended for the use of the whole community.
We completely and empathetically understand that regulations have to be put in place to ensure the safety of Dubai's citizens/residents during this time but we also need to protect the wellbeing of our pets and ensure a healthy morale is maintained in our precious community.

Seeing this kind of traction is heavy work but it proves that people are finally noticing how much our pets mean to this neighborhood. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle yet seeing this groundswell of momentum keeps me moving forward.

You can have some dog friendly parks, but banning all dogs from all parks is a bit extreme. Add bins to some parks, and add signs asking people to pick up dog waste. But banning all dogs from all parks is ridiculous will drive a lot of people out of JVC.
The parks are the only places people can take their pets to. A LOT of people with pets in JVC and closing the parks causes people to walk in the middle of the street or in direct contact with peoples front/back doors.
I only stay in Jvc for the dogs being able to walk in the parks. Take that away, and you will see many move out to an area that is pet friendly, no constant construction and terrible roads. The parks were the only good for JVC
It’s important for dogs to socialize and many responsible owners do clean up after their dogs and respect the park rules here within Jvc . Please review guidelines and we’d all appreciate being able to walk our dogs and respect the rules too. Happy doggies, happy owners
Having access to the parks for dogs or a dog park within JVC is essential. This is a very welcoming community and many other communities in Dubai have dog friendly or dog specific parks. For the well-being of the many hundreds of dogs in JVC, this is needed.
Plz do one similar to Dubai hills that can be e ough for JVC residents
JVC needs one pet friendly park. This will help the whole community. The kids, individuals and families will have their safe space and animals will have one as well.

Pets were allowed before and now that privilege has been removed. If Nakheel want to reduce our privileges we should pay less community fees. If they want us to pay the same they should provide the same as before.
