JVC has a lot of wonderful parks which as members of the JVC community, we frequently use. A large proportion of members who frequent the parks are dog walkers/owners. The park is a wonderful space for the dogs to socialise and run freely without the dangers of traffic and busy roads. The parks also provide shade for the dogs, which in the summer months is essential. If regulations are in place such as: reduced number of parks open to pets, the wearing of masks, reduced opening hours (e.g. 8-11am and 5-8pm), dog waste bins provided, limited number of persons per patch of grass land, then there should be no issues for our dogs to use the parks during the Covid-19 pandemic. After all, it is a community park intended for the use of the whole community.

We completely and empathetically understand that regulations have to be put in place to ensure the safety of Dubai's citizens/residents during this time but we also need to protect the wellbeing of our pets and ensure a healthy morale is maintained in our precious community.
