The feedback I continue to receive from neighbors illustrates how deeply the character of our streets is being altered by these conversions. I am currently documenting these concerns to present a formal case during the upcoming planning review process.

Seeing this momentum gather makes it clear that many of us feel the same concern about our neighborhood. It is heartening to know that so many neighbors are paying attention to the character of our streets and the future of our homes.

There seems to be no consideration being given to the residents in the area. These houses should be available for families. Absentee landlords eg Luelle who have submitted multiple applications are just out to make money and have no thought for the local areas/people they are affecting
There are already too many HMOs on this street causing overcrowding for parking. My elderly mother with walking difficulties cannot park anywhere near her home anymore and will now need to apply for a disabled space, which will cause more parking restrictions for residents.
HMO dwellings currently overshadowing local area, traffic issues, safety issue for emergency vehicles due to parked cars already, neighbouring streets HMO s causing refuse n fly tipping n rats brought rats last year, loss of community when many flats empty in town centre
I have lived on this area for 40 years and cannot agree with this HMO in fairfield Howley distict. Am not saying the residents are/ will be problematic but the parking is appalling. Its good that more residency is been addressed but nobody has thought about infrastructure.
Living next door to an HMO is horrible. Property is unkempt and dirty, noisy both voices and music. Parking is a huge problem. HMO'S should not be done in terraced houses, not fair on the neighbours. I worry about my safety as well.
This needs to be stopped immediately,the streets in the area are parked bumper to bumper with cars vans trucks and even cherry pickers,it’s time these greedy landlords are told where to go with their hmos, communities are being destroyed and people are fearful of walking around the streets alone,rubbish is being dumped everywhere, wbc need to listen to the residents of the area it’s not fair for people who have bought their homes and then one of these monstrosities are thrown up next door !!
No to HMOs. These are houses not flats. Parking is terrible in this area

I sent emails to the council objecting against the latest HMO at number 68 as I said it would impact greatly with regard to the already big parking problems we have. They, in no uncertain terms more or less replied with “lump it”!
