This petition is to prevent the installation of a no loading bay outside of 118 Dames Road, next door to Lowden Roofing and Building Supplies, by The London Borough of Newham.
This will mean customers and suppliers will no longer be able to load and offload during the most vital part of the day in this area between 8am - 9.30am and 3pm - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday in this area.
Seeing this much support for our neighborhood trade keeps me going because I know exactly how much this loading bay would cripple our local businesses. It is heartening to see that so many of you understand why protecting this access is essential for our daily survival.

Adding a loading bay between the hours suggested will really impact lowden roofing’s supply chain. This is not a good idea at all.

Restricting the loading and unloading times would negatively impact Lowden who have helped so many people of the locals get material for their houses

It is important that the loading bay is not implemented as heavy goods are regularly purchased from here and would cause severe issues for all involved
