I live just off Queen Street and I am really curious as to what problem they are trying to solves. There is one bus on this road which moves up and down it pretty freely. This is another revenue raising exercise.
When access to Brownlow Road proposed busgate was disrupted by roadworks, it gave a clear picture of the far reaching bad results. This proposal will so obviously result in similar disastrous results and muut be absolutely prevented from being imposed.
This is unacceptable, what is the aim behind the change. I live in Queen Street and work in Palmers Green. This will make my life more complicated. This road has only one bus every 20 minutes. Was any one consulted about this???
It’s a residential road where families live with children and elderly. Many parents and carers need access to drive through this road to drop off and collect their kids to and from school. Many carers use this road to bring their clients to the hospital.
Major route to get to hospital,it will cause so much disruption having to go around back roads trying to access major roads eg a406. I live on this road and do not feel it will benefit the people who live here to just have a bus and cycle road only.
This is a very unfair cash-cow money making scheme with confusing signs far from the junctions and on the road surface very hard to read under full sun, and is completely designed to catch motorists unaware of its existence.
This road has no walling there is a bus gate in this road until you get to where it is.there a walking about 200 yards before at both ends but there isn't so this council and just collect money for the fun of it.

No information from Enfield council to Enfield residents via post or flyers they just fine the motorists. Motorists are not criminals. Most are just getting to hospital appointments etc. Why make it so difficult?
