We the undersigned, would like the Council to take note of the concerns we have as local residents & local businesses. The new owners of 85 Brighton Road - CR2 6EE, have started work on the property without making ANY planning application. The Council calls this 'Unauthorised'. They have caused severe disruption to the local business opposite - parking and often restricting access to its main door. They have parked their vehicles illegally for over 3 weeks now - blocking pavements, narrowing road access (especially dangerous for Emergency Vehicular access) & have created a mess with all the rubble they have created by use of heavy machinery. They have not considered the local residents or local businesses concerns. They will add more traffic to an already busy road (There's already 1 Petrol Station, 1 MOT/Car garage on Haling Road, 1 Car Main Dealer, 3 smaller Car Garages and a Paint shop on Helder Street - not to mention a New School that will open shortly!). We are not happy that another Car Garage will open - especially one that has broken the fundamental rules of going through the Proper/Legal channels. To this, we say we are Not Happy and we object to the unauthorised work as well as their intention of opening a Garage. Thank you.
TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT for the neighbours. enough is enough.

This street is already a nightmare to drive on. Last thing we need is more cars parked all over the pavement and blocking the road. ridiculous.

The mess they have left is unbelievable. How are they allowed to just start building without asking anyone? Stop this now before someone gets hurt by these blocked roads.
