I am not opposed to all annexation but I do believe that the benefit to the city outside of dollars and cents should be carefully weighed before we grow. With the Euromax development, we are already going to change dramatically in number, physically and fiscally. With the further growth that annexation brings, what we risk is that our green, walkable, historically charming, small and personal government village becomes the baby thrown out with the bathwater. I say let's slow down the process and choose to annex only what supports the things we love and want to grow about our sweet town. And then, only if a feasibility study has been done.

The current city and governance structure have always been among the strengths that the city has relied upon to attract new residents. I have questions and concerns about how an increase in land mass and population will impact our current Board structure. I would like to see a true cost/benefit study of the annexation of any area being considered.

All annexations should be fully vetted with current residents. We do not need something this important to our future as a community pushed on us via backdoor procedural methods.

Gradual, well vetted annexation may have benefits for our city. However, this current process is a problem. The legislature can take away, change, or add to the areas on our proposed map. Our only recourse if we don't like what they do is to lobby them or pull the map. Slow it down and let's use the processes we have in the past.

There is no reason to annex any additional property into the City of Avondale Estates. For those citizens who wish to live in a larger city, I suggest that you move. Avondale is a unique village in metro Atlanta so let's keep it that way.

I support slowing down and making sure it is a good idea . Adding more people and businesses than we can carry with our infrastructure would be a bad idea

I believe that the current annexation proposals are not in the best interest of Avondale Estates

I need more information about "why and how" before supporting annexation.
