This petition is to stop law enforcement form putting animal abuse cases last!! It happens FAR to often. The way it is looked at (by law enforcement) is well get around to it if we "FEEL" like it.. To me this is completely unacceptable!! Dogs have feelings to! We have got to speak up for our animals and give them a voice!! I also think that people should have to be educated in how to treat an animal before they can adopt! To many people think the best way to teach an animal is to punish them (hitting, Kicking, Chaining them up, etc) none of these are ways to teach and animal and NO animal should live in fear!!! Thank you

The emails I receive from you all about your own experiences are heavy to read but they keep me focused when the process drags. I am still pushing for a response from the offices that ignore these reports and I am not going to let them look away.

My family and I have had dogs, cats, birds, and a turtle as family members. I, myself, have loved all animals since I can remember. Abusing any animal, to me, is an act of a coward! We were placed on this earth to take care of all animals, look at what The Word of God says in Genesis 1:26, Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." Rule over, take care of, not hurt or beat on or abuse!! Time to do the right thing, stand up and stop the abuse!!!!
Its time for ideals about animals to change. They should be just as protected as the ppl who abuse them. And ppl who abuse should get stiffer penalties whether they abuse a person or an animal.
This could save the dog's life. Many times the police are the first ones to arrive. Please make the animals a priority when calls go out. the police can make the difference of life and death
I agree! If not more protected! I feel like to many people see dogs as something the own! But they ARE NOT! I t has been proven that dogs feel love and loyalty like a human. If not more so! A dog is the only being that will always love you more then themselves!
The law put anything to do with animals at the bottom of the list. (In other words they will get around to it if the feel like it) This petition is in hopes to make that stop!
GOD-willing, very soon the very best and enforceable animal welfare laws and regulations shall become prevalent throughout the world. May GOD-ALMIGHTY save animals from the horrors of human induced abuse, cruelty, torture, neglect, and habitat destruction.
Stop animal abuse! We are all animals! Abuse on a human child is frowned apon, why is abuse on an any other animal any different?

I can't stand to see anyone abuse an animal. They can't fight back so they should pick on someone that would give them a good fight. So sad I wish I had lots of money to take care of all the unwanted animals.
