I am starting this petition so that we can hopefully get some justice for the four-legged friends in all of our lives! A big problem has risen in Hood and surrounding Counties. We let our babies out to potty, or run for fresh air, and in the blink of an eye, their gone. This is happening everywhere. Dogs found dead, dogs being stolen. Beaten, malnourished, scared. These are our family members. Multiple stories of dogs being mistreated, and used for bait. I feel as though this is something the police should address. It's not coincidence that all of these animals are missing. From a fenced in yard, a runner cable, a kennel! I, as well as many others feel as though our police department, does not care about this issue. They are quick to jump on a missing person, but why not investigate the disappearance of an animal. They ARE NOT just animals. They are family. They have hearts, they love and they care. This petition is for them. Not just for Hood County, but for animals all over the world. They deserve to be looked for. They deserve to be investigated. Something needs to be done. Find these people who are stealing dogs and using them for bait! Find where they are being kept! Find where these fights are happening! Let's put a stop to this before anymore family is hurt!
