5700 Stockton boulevard Sacramento California has a camp with about 150 people on it. Sacramento county and Sacramento sheriff's department posted in order to vacate for Wednesday May 1st at 8:00 a.m. . This encampment has been here for many years. Sacramento California has no housing resources at the moment therefore the separation of this camp Will intentionally place the campers who have become a community and immediate danger. We know that when people walk alone or are on the streets they are targeted and easily victimized this is the case for homeless 24 hours a day However being an a camp setting protects them because they protect each other. There is legal representation involved. Please sign our petition to try to help an aid to stop this eviction.
The momentum is undeniable. This community deserves to stay together.

This eviction is not legal--to force the people at this site to leave the only homes they have is just wrong and shameful.

Right to rest, right to safe ground...porta-potties, portages-showers and garbage bens need to be available for everyone. Please bring in Triage to help. Thank-you

With just a little management, the City and County could help relieve the obvious health hazards of garbage and waste. This looks like a community of people to me. I own a home in the neighborhood. The solution I want to see is HELP for the people living at 5700 Stockton, not just rejection and displacement.

I agree that they should be able to stay BUT... It needs to be overwatched by one person that can regulate the dirtiness.. & activities.. Because once they are forced out they will be back on ppls lawns and on the sidewalks and any & everywhere.. I don't like to see all that trash, but they are humans and some have mental issues but if was someone monitoring and overseeing it, I think it will be better
