Bravo Base is under threat of being shut down, please help take a moment and sign this petition to help show our support that it should stay open. It is a safe haven for the homeless, homeless veterans, abused women, and anyone that is lost and vulnerable seeking help. They treat you like family, provide all the necessities you need, and protect you when no one else will. Anyone who enters the camp is first properly vetted to make sure they will treat everyone there like family as well, to assure a friendly and safe environment. The City of Tucson has taken over the camp and is proposing the camp to be built up to "city-code", people now fear it will be shut down because "city-code" most likely will take a lot of funds and construction to match. I met these individuals that live there and I can tell you that Bravo has restored their faith and helps them get into proper housing from there. Please help keep Bravo alive! Thank you, God Bless our Veterans and God Bless America!

I can see the counter creeping up toward one thousand and honestly it makes me want to scream because the city is still planning their next move while we are right here building this momentum. If you could just take a second right now to send this link to a few more folks who care about the veterans at Bravo Base that would be huge for us today.

I was just looking at the count and we are really creeping up on triple digits which is just wild because I honestly did not know if anyone would care as much as I do about Bravo Base. If you have a second to just grab the link and toss it onto your timeline or maybe text it to someone you think would get why this place matters that would be huge for us right now. It feels like we are on the edge of actually getting some eyes on this and I just really need you guys to help me push it over that imaginary finish line.

I have been to Bravo Base dropping off household items and met a couple of the residents that were turning their life around because Bravo Base was there to help them. Please do not close something that is working for the vulnerable in our society.

I've witnessed the work this group is doing, and can attest to the fact that this camp, while not pretty, is truly doing great things to transition people to more permanent housing. Perhaps, instead, the city could determine how to work WITH this group.

Not everything needs to be up to code. Leave these people alone and let them try to have a safe place to be instead of wandering the streets or living in washes. There are people who care about the vets and the homeless that are doing a lot more than the govt.

These people are doing what the City should have done, only better! They have given the local community back a Park that was infested with drug dealers, which the City allowed to happen. They should be given a Medal for their efforts, not an eviction notice!

Don't close Camp Conklin!! It's a very unique and special type of homeless shelter that appeals in particular to our veterans!!! Don't put our heroes back on the street with no food or shelter! Leave them alone. God bless all our veterans and those who care for them.

The homeless in our country are the most vulnerable. Vets who fought for our freedom call this place home. Who are they hurting ? Let these people live their lives in the only place they have to call home. Compassion please.
