ACTION:
We, the parents, of St. Thomas the Apostle (STA) would like you to reverse the resignation of Ms. O'Toole, 2nd grade teacher at STA for 12 years.
Whereas, we believe that marital status is a personal issue between God and an individual.
Whereas, terms of employment have never been subject to marital status OR all employees should then be held to the same standards.
Whereas, this Catholic community should do all it can to support our teachers who commit of themselves for years to our school and our children and support them during the process if a specific course of action is being required.
Therefore, we ask that you reverse this decision and offer Ms. O'Toole her position back as a member of the faculty at STA effective immediately.
im honestly blown away by how much this has taken off. seeing so many people stand behind mrs otoole is proof that we really are a community that looks out for our own. lets keep this energy moving forward.

Twelve years of service and this is how they treat her? Shameful.

It is 2015. Get with the times. Her personal life has nothing to do with how well she teaches those kids.

UNACCEPTABLE. Mrs. O'Toole is the heart of 2nd grade. Bring her back now.

She taught both my kids and they love her. This is so unfair and not what our community should be about.

Mrs. O'Toole is a great teacher. She made my daughter actually enjoy school. We want her back.

My son is heartbroken. She has been there forever and deserves way better than this treatment.
