Following 2 car accidents in the 3 days in the village it's time to take action. By Londis, Ravens Lane, a boy was hit by a car that failed to stop, leaving him with a broken ankle. In Audley a puppy died and the owner was hospitalised.

Ravens Lane is very busy especially at school-time with mums & dads walking their children to and from school and we no longer have a lollypop lady on that road.

The Londis and Post Office are very busy and are used by people of all ages, from the young spending their pocket money to the old collecting their pensions.

Any car travelling at speed could easily knock them over - I believe speed bumps or a zebra crossing could help to stop this from happening. I think the sooner we act on this the better as now is the ideal time.

"Prevention is better than cure" and this could prevent fatalities.

Ourselves and our pets should be safe.

Both incidents could have been so much worse.... This could be your child... my child... your father or your beloved pet. Let's come together as a community to prevent any further accidents.
