The acquisition for at least 6 Bob Cage sculptures for the green space between route 58 and the bridge into South Boston. This would not only be visually attractive but would provide a unique invitation to the town, one unlike any other town or city in the sate. It would also acknowledge one of South Boston's must illustrious sons as well as the town's status as home to a thriving community of artists.
Bob Cage's sculpture farm has already been listed in such guides as Roadside America as a special attraction...why not make the most of this?
These sculptures are part of our beautiful home. I fully support the purchase of the Bob Cage sculptures for the greenway. Carl the Dinosaur should stay in his place in front of the Halifax Library greeting all those visiting and exploring this town full of creative , giving, sharing and growing families and friends.
