Placing this local artist’s sculptures on the Southern Gateway would be perfect to address beautification of SOBO.

Moved to Halifax a year ago. Stumbled randomly on the Cage sculptures. What a gem. Would be wonderful if some of his work was saved for the public.

I love the idea of celebrating a wonderful local artist and I believe that Bob Cage’s art would draw local people and tourists. Trees, gardens, walking and bike trails—would be an asset to South Boston!

Bob Cage sculptures should definitely be purchased for the green space on the 58/501 entry into South Boston.

I think this is a perfect idea to incorporate a local artists work into the community. His sculptures have always been a staple of South Boston/Halifax County. This is exactly what the “green space” needs in Riverdale.

Perfect idea. …..But out these sculptures on high pedestals to avoid the flood waters.

The entrance into South Boston needs a serious facelift. The acquisition of Bob Cage’s sculptures for the green space being developed would be perfect!

Cage’s art is one of the main attractions in Halifax County and SOBO would be wise to purchase and prominently display them

I lived in one of the cabins on that farm during 2010-2013. It was a magnificent sight to wake up and look out across the field and see the artwork. It would be a shame to have it degrade in the field and not be appreciated as Bob really enjoyed all of his creations. He would be honored if you showcased his work and shared it for all who passed through to see and enjoy.

I am sad to see these sculptures being removed from where I've admired them ever since I was a child. If the county can own and display any of them anywhere, that would be amazing! It seems a shame that the new owners will be profiting from Mr Cage's creations. Those proceeds should be given to his family.
