Since the release of this petition Doug White has responded. Says he isn't asking for rezoning or purchasing the property on 62. Either way, we are still moving forward with our current and past issues. He states the they give back to the community by having dinners on holidays and Santa at the bar to "give back". I am sure that I speak for everyone in the community that we do not want or need any of that, and we would like peace, quiet and safety! They use those events to shadow everything else. What an insult to think that we would be okay with all of this because they give free dinners to people twice a year? It shows what they truly think of us.They have mistaken kindness for weakness in this community.
The past 3 weeks have been a nightmare and breaking point for this everyone. He states he wants to be "good neighbors" and hates the noise as much as we do as he goes home to his quiet HOA ruled community. He sleeps just fine at night. What an insulting comment! Everyone on 762 has now had to move their vehicles to the end of their driveways during events to keep people out of their yards and off of their properties.

Please support our community and put a stop to the potential expansion and new parking on the corner of State route 62 & 762.
Since the ownership was taken over from the Darby Tavern to create Tavern 62 our community has been wrecked with drunk drivers, fights, constant burnouts from motorcycles and cars at 2am and outdoor concerts that were never discussed with the locals.
NOW it's been brought to our attention that there are talks of expansion and they have cleared a residentially zoned wooded area next to private family homes to allow patrons to park there.
More traffic, larger events. We have tolerated trespassing of our properties, littering of our properties....
This petition is to say NO to allowing them to zone new land to park....and to get the attention of the township to protect its residents and citizens as this drastically changes the perception of our neighborhood and property values.
We are NOT trying to close their business BUT there needs to be limitations and respect for our community. They do whatever they want. If you do not live here, you have no idea what we have been dealing with, apparently we have been too nice for too long.
Please support us and show up at the township meeting AND the zoning meeting!
We are currently seeking legal counsel and other community help.

100% done. Our kindness has been taken advantage of. I Do NOT want my home lit up with giant lights on the woods next to my home so my dogs can be a nervous mess or have drunks watching my teenage daughters through the trees! My privacy is being taken from me and I am no longer okay with this! Our comments and concerns have been pacified for the past 4 years.
Please please come to the township meeting to support our little community to keep it safe. We moved here 20 years ago and it's progressively gotten worse and worse. The arrogance to think that they provide dinners during the holidays makes it all okay. We would NEVER set foot into their establishment.
It's so dangerous to drive here at night. I have a 19 year old daughter that has to come home from college on the weekends. We have personally watched one of their patrons have guns drawn on them and then tased in the parking lot...the 4th of july fist fights in the parking lot...... The burnouts and competitions on whose motorcycles are loudest. Wanna see the kind of crowd they bring here? Go to the gas station around 11 pm....Be careful though you'll probably guy high from the second hand weed smoke in the gas station. Don't even get me started on that!
I am tired of picking up trash and alcohol bottles out of my yard, after these big events, our house shakes from the music being loud and it drives our dogs crazy with the burnouts and other noise that’s being generated.
This bar has made our community no longer safe or peaceful. Constant fights, littering, unacceptably loud music & revving of motorcycles (especially in the early am hours), disrespectful customers, usage of residents properties for parking. Nobody wants to see the business close, but rather have respect for the community their business is located in. Expanding into the residential community will only bring more disrespect and issues. Us locals have been accepting of this for way too long. I hope our community came come together and put a stop to this.

We live at the dead end chenoweth and can hear them from out house as if they are in our own back yard and the way people fly down 62 causing accidents because of them because they act like they own that rd and corner

We get the noise from all the peeling motorcycles and cars and the music when it is too loud. The amount of wrecks at that intersection died down when it went out of business only to be revamped again. We get people down our lane trying to evade the patrol or 62 in general so they dont get caught drinking and driving…we also hear the bikes race at 2 am when they are leaving. That stretch of 62-71 is a drag strip. Bringing more traffic to the already dangerous intersection will not be a good thing.
