We, the undersigned, as loyal patrons and neighbors of the Deck, are outraged by the recent closure of the outside bar. D.C., Georgetown, and Glover Park have suffered the loss of a neighborhood institution. If the voices of a few curmudgeons can close a bar, we hope the signatures of hundreds can reopen it. We agree to boycott the Savoy Hotel until The Deck is restored to its previous form.
