This Prestigious Venue Has Featured Many Local Successful Bands Such As "The View", "The Law" And "Luva Anna" Playing A Very Important Part In Raising The Cities Profile. The Doghouse Is An Institution In Its Own Right And Plays Such A Vital Role In Dundee's Music Scene. Local Bands Have Even Claimed This Special Venue Is Seen To Be Their Second Home, And Say Sarah Hill, Licensee Of The Venue, Has Warmly Given Local Bands A Chance When No Other Venue Took It Upon Themselves To Do So. The Doghouse No Doubt Truely Has A Unique Atmosphere And Is No Doubt Loved By Many Tourists, Local Bands, The Public Of Dundee And Surrounding Cities But Has Spitefully Been Taken Away Due To Local Government, Dundee City Council. It Was Unfortunate That Sarah Hill, Licensee Of The Doghouse Is In What Is Claimed As £10,000 Of Un-Paid Business Rates. In This Recession It Was Inevitable That Local Businesses Would Struggle But Sarah Has Continued To Make Payments To The Debt Owed. It Has Now Been Reported That The Administrators Have Refused Sarah Hills Offering Which Was To Pay The Outstanding Total When They Regrettably Intervened On Tuesday 24th March 2009 . What We, The Undersigned People Of Dundee Ask Is That Dundee City Council Acts As A Council For The People, Listen, And Take Action To Swiftly Re Open The Doghouse And Restore Faith In Their Administration. Political Correctness Has Gone Too Far Dundee City council!
