The council just confirmed they will keep our crossing patrols in place. Watching my own kids walk to school safely tomorrow feels like a massive weight has been lifted. We still need to watch the budget reports closely to ensure this funding remains protected for the long term.

So they spend money on new offices but cut the crossing guards. Priorities are totally wrong here.
My kids walk to school every single day. This is absolutely ridiculous. Do they want an accident to happen before they listen??
STOP THE CUTS. Our childrens safety comes first.
I trust our crossing guard way more than the local drivers who speed past the school gates. Dangerous idea.
Keep our lollipop ladies!! They are part of the community and they keep the kids safe. Dont cut this.

Absolute madness. Traffic is getting worse by the day and they want to remove the only people helping the kids cross safely.
