This petition is signed in protest at the proposed removal of the 3 Lollipop People who man the two schools crossings on East Dulwich Grove. These are Bert Campbell, who works the crossing patrol at the junction of Village Way, Red Post Hill, East Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Village and the two lollipop people on the crossing at the Townley Road/ East Dulwich Grove junction. These three people perform an essential task in ensuring child safety at these junctions. We, the undersigned, urge Southwark Council to reconsider their decision and to retain these essential patrols as a matter of priority.
