SaveOurLakesNOW.org is asking/demanding (out of complete desperation) the Corps of Engineers for the IMMEDIATE implementation of 3100cfs from Lake Thurmond and the CONTINUED 3100cfs outflows until ALL three (3) lakes are full. If, during this process inflows South of Thurmond Dam are adequate to maintain 3100cfs in the River, ALL outflows from Thurmond Dam will cease until such outflows from Thurmond are necessary to maintain 3100cfs in the River. Please note that the Corps of Engineers should continue to seek lower than 3100cfs during times of drought. This situation is critical and NOW is the time to take action for change in the way our lakes are being managed. PLEASE join us in this endeavor and sign this petition. Thank you!

The scale of this response is overwhelming and it proves that we are not the only ones worried about these waters. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against the Corps but this momentum keeps me moving forward.

We hit one hundred signatures today. It feels like a small start but I am grateful people are finally noticing how much our lakes are suffering.

Ridiculous that they keep doing this. People invest in homes and businesses and the corps just pulls the plug. Enough is enough.

Save the lakes please. They are a treasure and they are being wasted.

DO SOMETHING. My dock is already sitting in mud and it is only May. This is hurting everyone who lives here.

I grew up on these lakes and it breaks my heart to see them like this. stop the over-drainage now before it destroys the whole ecosystem.

The levels are getting scary low. If they dont stop draining these lakes soon there wont be anything left for the summer season. Fix this management mess.

Need consistency. The current plan is just tanking our property values and ruining the fishing for everyone.
