Hunt's Pond State Park is a small park in a quiet setting with 16 primitive campsites, a picnic area, and a boat launch site. The park does not have established trails, but adjacent Department of Environmental Conservation land is available for visitors to use for hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Due to New York State's fiscal crisis this facility will not be open for camping for the 2010 Season. Which ends in Park Closure. There are small parks that many people don't know about which are so small compared to size and quality. Close those parks, not this one.
