The State of Pennsylvania is looking for ways to cut their budget. One of their solutions is to close some of the State Parks. On the list is Greenwood, Whipple Dam and Penn Roosevelt. This would greatly impact the economy of Jackson Township. Please help keep our parks open and help us let our legislators know closing our State Parks is not an option.
The petition has now reached two hundred and fifty signatures. I appreciate the dedication shown by those who have stepped forward to protect these essential natural spaces.

These parks bring so many people into town during the summer. If they close the local businesses are gonna suffer big time.

Ridiculous idea. Find somewhere else to cut the budget instead of ruining our green spaces.
