The Winters High School Warrior imagery is again at risk of being removed from our school. Please show your support by signing and sharing this petition. It is very important that our community stands together letting activist groups know we do not intend to remove what has been an important part of our schools history for over 80 years! PLEASE DO NOT DONATE ANY MONEY, IT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR YOUR SIGNATURE.

As a former Winters PD Officer, I remember the pride WHS and its students had for their name and their school. The logo and name conveys a fighting spirit. How can that be offensive to anyone?

As a future warrior I believe we should leave the Orginal logo alone, that was the logo for my grandfather, dad, and now brother, I can't wait to be a warrior!

Keep the Winters Warriors! I am class of 1999 and proud to be a Warrior. Our Warrior mascot was always respected and never disrespected. We are proud and honored to carry it as our symbol!

It's sad something that is a part of this community and school wants to be taken away . I have Indian heritage in me and I'm proud that a school and town wants a symbolic headdress or arrow as their mascot. I feel because of the money power this is being forced.

Keep it the way it has been for 80+ years. Changing it gives into a small minority of hyper-sensitive and "eager to be offended" individuals who are making a mountain out of a mole hill. I have Indian blood and a warrior is not an insult to me. If it is anything, it is a compliment to me and the indigenous people.

Leave it alone! I played football all four years of high school and ran track and field as a Winters Warrior. Ironically our helicopter call sign in the Army Airborne Air Cavalry was, "Warrior III". Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior!
