Save Our School District!
The Wyomissing School Board is currently proposing several job eliminations and or job changes for the school district’s 2012 Budget, including jobs that are extremely valuable to the Wyomissing Area School District and its reputation for educational excellence.
The Wyomissing School Board proposed changes are too many to list, but can be found at the School District’s web site at www.wyoarea.org/news.cfm. It is under the “Town Hall Presentation”.
Yet the school board wants to hire a Human Resources Generalist (for around 58K) to replace the HR Director they are eliminating and a Bookkeeper to replace the PT Sr. Accountant they are eliminating.
Tell the Board that these are the wrong cuts!
Tell the Board that now is not the time to hire new Administrators!
Tell the Board, prior to making any cuts, to implement the proposed cost saving measures that have been suggested by the residents of the Wyomissing Area School District!
Sign and tell the Board we want to preserve our unique, famous and highly acclaimed School District!
These job eliminations and job changes will affect our children district wide as the positions that are eliminated will, hurt our town's reputation for educational excellence, and impact property values!
PLEASE Sign the petition and tell the Board that you do not agree with their proposed cuts.

My kids went through this district and got a great education. Dont ruin it now just to save a few bucks in the budget. Keep our teachers!

TOTAL SHAME. These cuts are going to hurt the kids the most. Think about the future of this town for once!!
