The Frankston to Stony Point rail service has officially been granted the funding to continue operations. This outcome confirms the value of the line to our local community and I am deeply grateful for the engagement of every person who supported this effort. We will keep a close watch on …
some notice of a pending closure would have been nice considering some of our children rely on this train as transposrt to and from school, sporting commitments ect. The bus takes way too long and is unreliable. Spend the money to fix the rail or we will be completly isolated!

i use this train every morning and afternoon to get to TAFE. having to use the bus will not only make me late every day but I also have a disability and riding the rough buses causes pain. because of this I probably will not be able to continue to go to TAFE

We have a son doing tafe in Frankston relying on the train, also we have a child with special needs that also catches this train to Tyabb that we have just finally got him to travel on it to get to school, also a daughter who goes to Somerville Sec college also relying on the train service. This train line needs to stay on track.

I need this train service to get my daughter into Frankston and Melbourne to see specialists. it was one of the reasons we chose the area to live, because it had a rail service making these trips possible.
