Stop South Western Railways Slashing Train Service in Half
South Western Railways are proposing slashing train service to Queenstown Road station, from eight trains per hour to four, a reduction of 50%.
The proposals if enacted would see the number of trains an hour calling at Queenstown Road slashed from eight to four by December 2018, which is a 50% reduction in the train timetable. These planned reductions in services will affect local residents and commuters, as well as local businesses.
We the undersigned urge South Western Railways to keep the current level train services at Queenstown Road Station as they are.
This is an urgent matter and vital to our community.

South Western Railways thought they could gut our station without anyone noticing. This surge in support proves they are dead wrong and we are not backing down until they scrap these pathetic plans.

Dont cut our trains. We pay enough for these tickets as it is.
Ridiculous. My commute is already hard enough. Cutting the service in half is just going to make the platforms even more overcrowded than they already are.
Keep the current schedule. It is already packed at peak times.
Disgraceful. They just want to save money while we suffer. Sort it out.
This station is essential for the local area. Cutting it to 4 trains an hour is absolute madness and will hurt all the local shops.

SERIOUSLY?! How are we supposed to get to work on time if you keep taking away our transport options. Fix the management instead of punishing us.
