Chiltern Railways threaten to destroy the local communities of Seer Green & Jordans and many surrounding villages who use our station, by stopping trains only ONCE per hour during off-peak times when the new summer timetable is introduced on 14 May 2012, with further cuts planned in the proposed December 2012 timetable. The pre-May 2012 service was approx two trains per hour stopping at Seer Green & Jordans station during off-peak times.
Will Chiltern Railways next move be no stopping trains at all?
We lived through several years of railway line upgrades with the promise of a better and faster service, now only for our own service to suffer. By signing the petition below you will be helping keep our local community alive and connected, as we register our dismay and disapproval of Chiltern Railways proposed service cuts and seek for the off-peak services to be reinstated back to their pre-May 2012 levels.
