We, the undersigned, whilst recognising the current pressure on public finances, believe that the cost to the public purse of a new railway station in Bromsgrove would be more than offset by the resulting economic and environmental benefits for both Bromsgrove and the wider region.
We therefore call on the Secretary of State for Transport to confirm that government funding for this vital infrastructural upgrade will go ahead.
The feedback I receive lately emphasizes how much this station holds the potential to reshape our local economy. I am currently finalizing conversations with local planning leads to ensure our message reaches the right desks in the transport department.

The steady growth of this petition shows that our community recognizes the long-term value of a better railway connection. This collective interest demonstrates that the economic and environmental case for the station is understood far beyond my initial expectations.

Investment here is long overdue. It makes total sense for the environment and the local economy.
