Please sign our petition to help show your support for prompt reopening of The Station Hotel, Ellesmere Port.

Hit with an 8 week closure order there is little chance this independent, salt of the earth, local boozer will survive.
Unless we, the public, friends, bands and regular punters can show how loved and frequented by good honest working class people this establishment is & how we are all committed to making it a safe and enjoyable place to be.

We can't afford to lose another historic public house at the hands of those who know nothing about what it is to live and love this area.

Young and old have been part of this pub, please don't let it go without a fight.

Thank you.

Seeing one hundred people stand up for The Station Hotel feels like a massive win for all of us who consider this place home. My father spent forty years in those booths and I know he would be proud to see the community fighting to keep our doors open.

I have spent the last few days talking to the regulars who view this place as their only real home. Their stories remind me why we cannot let this building be forgotten or boarded up forever. We are keeping up the pressure to ensure those in charge understand exactly what they are threatening to destroy.

The station pub has been there for many years and the pub itself isn't just any ordinary pub its a pub full of memiores and joy. Many of my family relatives and friends drink in this pub, the pub has been here for over 18 years before i was born its a heritage building in Ellesmere Port.

This community pub should not be closed down because of the actions of one or two people. With so many pub closures within the area the people of Ellesmere Port are losing their sense of community. It is also affecting people financially; bar staff, musicians, delivery staff, breweries as well as those who gain employment by word of mouth.

one the station had the longest bar in thecountry, when it was home to Malcom Mc,Dowell the actor as a young boy,it carried on being a great venue for local bands, including my own and is an iconic hostelry with individual charm

A great local pub brilliant atmosphere and a historic Ellesmere Port landmark, the staff and regulars of the Station are forever fundraising for local charity and good causes, this town cannot afford the the closure of yet another focal point of our community.

I loved every minute of being in this pub, whether its with my band playing or just visiting socially. It has a great community and charm and warmth and supports local bands. I've away felt welcome and safe. It would be a massive shame if the survival of this pub was put at risk for any reason.

I cant even begin to tell how much this place has done for me, from knowing no one I have worked here and enjoyed building a wonderful circle of friends, people who would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Where money is tight but laughs are plenty. This pub holds a community together.
