I spent the morning walking through the aisles of the Halcyon Store and realized just how much this place holds our community together. I am currently in the process of drafting a formal proposal for the local board to ensure they understand the history we stand to lose if they proceed with these plans.

Seeing this kind of momentum for the Halcyon Store reminds me that my childhood memories are shared by so many others in this town. It feels like the community is finally rallying to protect the heart of our neighborhood.
