Lord Mayor Clover Moore has teamed up with the Greens and Liberals to support the sell-off of the T2 building, an iconic Taylor Square landmark.
We need a museum to chronicle the history of Sydney’s LGBTIQ community - if the T2 building is sold to the highest bidder, we will lose forever the opportunity to create this museum in Taylor Square.
Labor Councillor Linda Scott will fight to stop the sale of Taylor Square's T2 building - sign the petition calling on the Lord Mayor Clover Moore, the Greens and the Liberals to reverse their decision and stop the sale!

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving and seeing so many people passionate about keeping the T2 building for us makes me feel like we might actually win this thing. I keep checking my phone because it feels like a dream and I am just so happy that we are protecting our history together even though it is chaotic right now.

I believe such an iconic building should be retained for public use & object to plans for its sale, particularly without any consultation with the community
To rid Taylor Square of the T2 building,and it's possibility to make a real landmark with a museum WHERE THE GAY MOVEMENT REALLY FOUND ITS FEET is to say that history does not matter. Why not get rid of all the Phillip, Cook, Victoria statues as well if you don't care for them. Denude the whole State of ALL other reminders of our heritage as well. Shame on you for even thinking about getting rid of a central part of yours and my history.
This is an iconic building is well suited to a GLBTGI museum.

Why sell off our birth rights merely to pay for our consumption now. The boomers are destroying the millenials'future.
