Save G-A-Y! Stop the huge rent increase on one of London's most iconic gay venues!
We could be losing G-A-Y Late, one of London's most iconic gay venues. The landlord wants to more than double the rent which will, quite possibly, lead to it closing down. The owners will try for an appeal and we, as a community, should show our support for such a special venue.
I am sure we all, or at least someone we know, have made amazing memories here and I for one would be devastated if it closed. Following the closing of Madam JoJo's, Proud and other Soho venues, it is time we take a stand and show solidarity for the venues we love.

The quiet from the landlord is frustrating but I am spending my hours tracking down anyone in the local council who will actually listen to us. Losing another piece of our history is not an option I am willing to accept. I am exhausted by this fight but I am not walking away.

I'm here nearly every weekend. If this goes I'm pulling out of being a regular in soho.
Home to my first ever night out where I felt truly comfortable. Losing this for the sake of money would be a loss to all of London..
One of the venues I've worked at and would be such a loss to community and soho!
Excellent venue, have been going for over ten years. Cannot be beaten on price, £1.75 mid week / £3.25 weekends.
I think this a absolutely terrible idea to charge so much rent absolutely ridiculous The place is iconic and soho will not be the same without it
I absolutely love these venues and have many happy, special, warm and fond memories of them and really, sincerely hope we can save it! Please, please, please, please, PLEASE!!
Gay or not, this place is great! I love it. Such good atmosphere and lovely people. Always have an amazing time when I'm there. Cannot believe they want to close it down. So Sign Sign Sign people! xoxo

Doubling the rent is absolutely appalling. GAY late is a pivotal part of the LGBT community and is a safe place for many people to go and socialise without the threat of prejudice.
