Dear Manchester City Council, I am signing this petition in protest of the closing of the Gay Centre in Manchester. This building hosts a number of vital service for the lgbt communities, services which save and improve lives. It was purpose built twenty years ago and it now a focal point of lgbt people's history. If the centre is closed lgbt people will feel a huge blow to their communitiy. I oppose this action whole heartedly.
