We the undersigned oppose the Government appointed Planning Inspector's decision whichhas rejected the views of Wigan Council and ordered that 1000 new homes should be built in Standish. This is against the wishes of many local residents who wish to see new homes built in the Borough but are deeply dismayed that the plan takes no account of the pressures on roads in Standish or the value of greenbelt land to people across Wigan.
