This petition is to stop the development of the land at Narcot Nurseries, 20 Narcot Lane into a huge housing development.
This development will place our infrastructure under immense strain and pressure, the developers have applied to build 31 dwellings on it. It will also be a development on Green Belt Land.

The developers are pushing ahead despite the obvious strain this project puts on our local infrastructure. Send an email to the council at [email protected] right now to cite application PL/20/0186/FA and demand they reject these plans. Text three neighbors to ensure they submit their own objections before the window closes.

The infrastructure of the roads can’t accommodate the number of cars in the area as it is at the moment, for example the road toSeer Green is flooded and impassable so potentially another 70 cars would have to re route. More doctor surgeries, schools etc also need to be built before more housing.
This is another encroachment on Green Belt land and cannot be considered a special case for consideration by the council. The local plan has provision for social and affordable housing that does not include this site and as such should not be allowed.
Chalfont St Giles will no longer be a village but a town with busy traffic. We have to wait over 3 weeks for an urgent Doctor's appointment now. What will 60+ more residents do. My son would love an AFFORDABLE HOME but he will never be able to afford one like so many other low wage earners. Affordable for whom?
One of three such developments in the village. We are now talking 87 new dwellings and should they succeed, this would open the flood gate to more applications by Developers who are using affordable housing as a loophole for building extensively all over the UK
Already parking is dreadful along Narcot Lane since the pub car park became a pay and display area Cars are all over the pavement and grass verges the infrastructure has already broken the garage and taxis are parking customers cars and their cabs with very little consideration for the residents.
Protect our already stretched infrastructure, services and schools. And please protect our green belt - it's what makes Chalfont St Giles such a beautiful place to live. When it's gone, it's gone.
Please protect our valuable green belt. This proposed development was never suggested as part of the very recent Chalfont St Giles Neighbourhood Plan consultation.

What happened to Green Belt being protected land? The definition of Green Belt is a ring of countryside where urbanisation will be resisted for the foreseeable future, maintaining an area where agriculture, forestry and outdoor leisure can be expected to prevail. How can development of this possibly be justified?
