Nicholas Johnston outbid the NT to buy the entire village and estate of Bantham South hams which he vowed to leave unspoilt. Now he wants to develop the village with luxury houses, golf course, underground car park, gym, Tennis court and a beach cafe, he'll ruin it like Hope cove is full of boats and Mylor has been destroyed. Saying and doing are very different. Widely publicised at the time Mr Johnston's promise to leave Bantham unspoilt. Where are the legal caveats in the sale that should protected the area and ensured his promised kept? A public enquiry should be called by Government or does Mr Cameron's friends still have friends at court? !

Another example of outsiders wanting to spoil the quiet peaceful Devon countryside and beaches. Creating another weekend /holiday area for the wealthy 'townies'. We do not want another Salcombe etc.
