Dear Neighbors,
It has come to our attention that our beloved mail carrier Sal has been reassigned to a new route after 29 years of serving our neighborhood. Sal is like no other! Not only does he deliver to the right address...he knows each of us and has become part of our community. We hope that the postmaster will consider our request when he sees the large number of constituents signing, and that Sal will be able to keep at least part of his desired route. Thanks for signing!!

Sal is part of our neighborhood community. He knows our family members by name--not just our family last name, but the kids' first names. How awesome is that. Sal has been delivering our mail to us in this neighborhood for nearly 30 years. Please do not take him away from the neighborhood & people who love him!! Patti Porter Evans, Savory Dr.
Sal knows the area so well, he even knows our cars. I've had him wave to me when I've seen him in various parts of the neighborhood, as I've driven by. He seems to know every inch of the area, and we are all used to seeing him and speaking with him.
Sal is irreplaceable! Our mail delivery suffered when he was initially moved off our route. We actually have reliable delivery service now that he is back. On his days off it is catch as catch can.
Just talked to Sal & he said the postmaster never showed him the petition so I'm going to sign this one & will print it out for him. He knocked on the door to show me that I forgot to add a stamp to one of my bills. So nice that he goes the extra step. And it's been GREAT getting my mail & not my neighbor's two doors down! Sal Fan!
We value Sal as we would a family member, respected, admired and loved. We agree he is also an important an important neighborhood watch as he is so familiar with everyone on his route. After 29 years I can't understand exactly why changing his route is necessary.
539 dawn drive, snvle, ca 94087. sal actually delivers! yes our mail but also restores our faith in USPS!! if i were station master i would do my best to keep sal on his route, if you want to make USPS look good...
Sal cares for the results of his hard work. It Is not just dropping off mail, but making sure that he does a well job done, and he cares about his "customers".

I grew up at 586 Dawn Dr Sunnyvale Ca 94087, and for the 20 years I lived there, Sal was our mailman. Words can't nearly express how important and essential Sal is to our Neighborhood and removing him from his route will have an everlasting negative effect.
